Standalone Servers

When you don’t want to deal with submitting your jobs to a queue, and need access to lots of system RAM - our standalone servers are a good choice. The login screen will show you how busy each server is, so please choose a server that isn’t already full of somebody else’s running jobs.

Now that we have a couple different levels of accounts, here’s the servers each account level can access:

Our beefiest standalone, whale has 64 cores and a ridiculous amount of RAM. If you have a job that needs more RAM than is available on ford or slarti - whale has you covered. Please use this server only for jobs with high RAM requirements.

Benchmarks

Here you can see how our servers compare speed wise. These tests were run on a single core, while the systems were busy (mostly).
